Performing at the Hudson Farmers Market, which takes place on Tuesdays this summer in front of Town Hall, Anne Rouillard, of Marlborough, and Chris Reckling, of Brookline, of the Long Lost String Band, entertain the crowd, June 15, 2021.

Chris Reckling (guitar, banjo, vocals) and Anne Rouillard (fiddle, vocals) are the Long Lost String Band, exploring old time fiddle tunes and early country songs. We are bringing joy and toe-tapping happiness to eastern Massachusetts and beyond. We won third place for the duo category at the 2022 Lowell Banjo and Fiddle Contest. Anne won third place in old time fiddle!

Check out our Music page for videos and be sure to try our new album on Bandcamp!

In addition to performing, we also have a 45-60 minute program to educate listeners on the roots of American traditional music. We focus on building community through music and discuss the origins of the fiddle and banjo coming together in the Southern Appalachian area of the USA. Suitable for schools, libraries, and other events for kids and adults.

You were both fantastic! The kids and I were very impressed!
